Note that your registration is contingent upon the successful payment of the stated fee. Registration fees are non-refundable, except for force majeure cases that will be reviewed case by case. Personal data collected through this form is necessary for us to select the candidates and, in the case of those selected, to register, manage and execute their participation in the Summer School. This processing is based on the need for pre-contractual procedures at the request of the data subject when submitting the form and performance of the contract established upon selection. The data shall be retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of collection. The data subjects may at any time exercise their data protection rights, namely the right of access, rectification, objection, portability and to limit the processing, as established under the applicable law, by sending an email to comunicacao@novalaw.unl.pt, or privacy@vda.pt or to dpo@bioacademy.gr. The personal data may be communicated to third parties when such communication is deemed necessary for VdA, NOVA School of Law, BRFAA: (i) to comply with any applicable law or judicial decision and (ii) to answer to any claim of any public or governmental authority. Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, data subjects also have the right to file a complaint to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) at www.cnpd.pt or other competent supervisory authority, if they believe that their rights have been infringed.
