AI@Work Challenge 2026 at NOVA School of Law

NOVA School of Law, in partnership with Microsoft Portugal and with the support of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, invites students, faculty members and staff to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence through the AI@Work Challenge 2026.
This challenge was designed for everyone who wishes to develop Artificial Intelligence skills and discover practical ways to apply these tools in study, teaching and everyday work.
Through the Microsoft Learn platform, participants will have free and unlimited access to several learning modules and learning paths tailored to the different profiles within the academic community.
How does the Challenge work?
The AI@Work Challenge 2026 includes:
- one common core for all participants;
- specific learning paths for students, faculty members and staff.
Participation will be recognised through four progression levels:
- Bronze Level: Completion of the mandatory common core (2h25)
- Silver Level: Completion of the common core + at least one specific module from the corresponding learning path (~3h)
- Gold Level: Completion of the common core + all specific modules (~5h30)
- Platinum Level: Completion of the common core + all specific modules + advanced learning path (up to 13h)
Awards
The first participants to complete the Platinum Level will receive:
- Microsoft certification vouchers;
- access to the exclusive in-person training: “Human Skills in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” 12-hour training programme.
