The Master’s in Law and Economics of the Sea (MDEM) at NOVA School of Law has once again been ranked the fourth best in the world in Maritime Management by , an international agency that every year publishes rankings of the best master’s and MBA programs worldwide. For its part, the Master’s in Law and Financial Markets, a product of a partnership with NOVA IMS, rose four positions and is ranked 20th among the best in Western Europe in the area of International Business Law.
This ranking was based on the analysis of 50 specializations, covering more than 1800 universities and schools from 154 different countries within 9 geographic zones: Africa, North America, Latin America, Central Asia, Eurasia and the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, the Far East and Oceania.
Each year, more than 20,000 postgraduate programs proposed across the world are evaluated.

The Master’s in Law and Financial Markets is a product of an innovative partnership bringing together NOVA Information Management School and NOVA School of Law.
It is taught entirely in English and offers students the challenge of an innovative combination of courses in law and finance, with opportunities to meet and network with leading financial institutions, to gain hands-on experience through an internship in a financial institution and to benefit from an international experience at a top university in Europe or beyond, through NOVA School of Law’s membership of the Themis Network.
