Mobility Programmes

THEMIS Network

NOVA School of Law is a member of the THEMIS Network, which includes Universities from Europe, Asia and Oceania, after signing of the agreement in May 2018.

The purpose of the Network is to promote academic cooperation in the field of international trade law and to encourage the internationalization of Master’s students.

The Programme is aimed at Master’s students, in the areas of Law and Economics, which establishes that the 1st semester (autumn/winter semester) is undertaken in one of the partner Universities, and requires enrolment in at least 30 ECTS credits, and approval in 24 ECTS credits.

Besides the fact that students are obliged to spend a semester abroad, at one of the partner Universities, students selected to participate in the Programme have to follow an International Internship (organised by the student themselves) and in the 2nd semester (spring semester), students must participate in the THEMIS Seminar (lasting 3 days), organised by one of the partner Universities.
