The Jean Monet Module on European Banking Law (EU_Bank)<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The primary aim of the EU_Bank Module is to generate and share impactful knowledge on critical issues within the EU banking market while promoting financial literacy among students, researchers and the general public.<\/strong><\/p>

The past 17 years have exposed critical vulnerabilities and shortcomings in financial markets, particularly in the EU banking sector. The 2007\/8 financial crisis had the benefit to bring to light the need for more robust regulatory frameworks, while subsequent events like the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine further highlighted the fragility and vulnerability of consumers, largely driven by insufficient levels of financial literacy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The project\u2019s community-oriented initiatives will focus on narrowing the gap between society and financial markets. These activities aim to enhance financial literacy and build connections across diverse groups.
