April 2026, at 8:30 p.m., the Electoral Commission responsible for the process of appointing elections for students&#8217; representatives on the School Council of NOVA School of Law convened to tally and announce the results of the election.<\/p><p>After verification and reconfirmation of the vote count, 143 votes were recorded, distributed as follows: 60 votes for List A, 74 votes for List B, 8 blank votes, and 1 invalid vote.<\/p><p>Based on the results, Francisco de Jesus (List B) and Francisco Maria Fialho Freire (List A) were elected as full members. As alternate members, from List A, Rita Vieira Marques, Rodrigo Miguel Valente Martins, and Maria Miguel Pinto Veloso were elected; and from List B, Mariana de Andrade Marques Nunes de Resende, Beatriz Valouro Machado de Jesus, and Tiago Bento Marques were elected.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f389a8d elementor-hidden-desktop elementor-hidden-laptop elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-hidden-mobile elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f389a8d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On <strong>April 7<\/strong>, elections will be held for <strong>Students&#8217; Representatives on the School Council of NOVA School of Law<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The election campaign will take place between <strong>March 23 and April 5<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Voting in person will take place in the <strong>faculty lobby<\/strong> between <strong>10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-00d05b8 elementor-hidden-desktop elementor-hidden-laptop elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-hidden-mobile elementor-widget elementor-widget-ekit_wb_28992\" data-id=\"00d05b8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"ekit_wb_28992.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"normal-titleh3 preto regular-text\">Mobility vote<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d6d9378 elementor-hidden-desktop elementor-hidden-laptop elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-hidden-mobile elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d6d9378\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The NOVA School of Law acknowledges the constraints that may prevent individuals from casting their votes in person and, as such, has instituted<strong> the Mobility Vote<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Votes for the Mobility category must be cast using<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=69FwT2zVQ0eDbqGTaFt-RjnaqDcRIYpLi9U-lrgMHytURjVBNDc0VUZIV01SSFhWWTNJQjRMV041Qy4u\"> the online NOVA School of Law Faculty Council (Students) form<\/a>. To ensure your vote is counted, please use your NOVA School of Law credentials to access the form <strong>before 10:00 p.m. on March 29, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p><p>After your registration is confirmed, you will receive an <strong>email notification<\/strong> with the link to access the electronic voting platform. Following their appointment, the Council shall elect, by an absolute majority, the respective Chair from among the external members and the Vice Chair from among the tenured School Council
