class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>NOVA School of Law<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.novasbe.unl.pt\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NOVA School of Business and Economics (NOVA SBE)<\/a> had the honour of hosting <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/nova-school-of-law-and-nova-sbe-bring-global-legal-and-business-innovation-programme-to-portugal-lawwithoutwalls-lwow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the 2026 edition of LawWithoutWalls (LWOW)<\/a> in Portugal for the first time, <strong>an international programme on legal and business innovation brings together leaders, professionals and students from institutions around the world<\/strong>. This edition involved <a href=\"https:\/\/lawwithoutwalls.org\/schools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">21 law and business schools from 14 countries spanning 5 continents and 8 time zones<\/a>, forming a global community of leaders, innovators and future changemakers who collaborated across industries, generations and borders.<\/p><p>During the three-day programme, participants from various fields, including law, management, and technology, worked in multidisciplinary teams to address real-world challenges posed by partner companies. They applied their academic knowledge to develop prototypes and present solutions to an international panel of judges. Led by <a href=\"https:\/\/lawwithoutwalls.org\/destefano\">Professor Michele DeStefano<\/a>, the programme promotes a practical and collaborative approach, focusing on skills such as innovation, teamwork, adaptive leadership, and client-oriented problem solving.<\/p><p>The 2026 edition in Portugal was also made possible by <a href=\"https:\/\/lawwithoutwalls.org\/leadership2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the exceptional LWOW team, including Anita R., Felix Schulte-Strathaus, Ashlynn Widger (project managers)<\/a>, innovation mentors, volunteers and everyone working behind the scenes to make this edition a true success.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-02d714a elementor-widget elementor-widget-ekit_wb_28992\" data-id=\"02d714a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"ekit_wb_28992.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"normal-titleh3 preto regular-text\">International panel of judges<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-807e544 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"807e544\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The panel included renowned professionals and academics from various countries with expertise in law, business, academia and industry.
