This Contingency Plan follows the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), as well as the National Contingency Plan and the Guidelines issued by the Directorate General for Health (DGS).<\/p><p>The current situation regarding the COVID-19 disease was considered by the ECDC to be of high impact and with a likely global spread, leading the WHO to declare a Pandemic situation. Contingency measures were therefore enacted and practices to mitigate the spread of this virus disseminated with a view to minimising the risks of contagion and spread of the COVID-19 disease.<\/p><p>On 2 March 2020, NOVA University of Lisbon unveiled the Contingency Plan vis-\u00e0- vis COVID-19, which NOVA School of Law has followed.<\/p><p>In view of the current pandemic situation, the measures and procedures for the operation of teaching and non-teaching activities in the 2020\/2021 school year of NOVA School of Law are now established through this Plan.<\/p><h2><a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/destaques\/nova-school-of-law-is-awarded-the-isq-covid-out-stamp-of-approval\/\">Nova School of Law os awarded the ISQ COVID OUT Stamp of Approval<\/a>\u00a0<\/h2><p>NOVA School of Law has been awarded the COVID OUT stamp of approval, awarded by ISQ. This certification recognizes the effectiveness of the measures and procedures for health and safety implemented by NOVA School of Law to prevent risks of transmission of the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
