On April 13, starting at 3pm, NOVA School of Law will host the event \u00ab<\/strong>New York Convention: A Comparative Perspective\u00bb<\/strong>, to be held in partnership with the Center for Transnational Litigation, Arbitration and Commercial Law<\/a><\/em> of NYU School of Law<\/strong>, Nova Dispute Resolution Forum<\/a> and CEDIS.<\/a><\/p>

This occasion will mark the launching of the new book \u00ab<\/strong>Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards: A Concise Guide to the New York Convention’s Uniform Regime\u00bb<\/strong> by Franco Ferrari<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Friedrich Rosenfeld<\/a>\u00a0and Charles Kotuby<\/strong><\/a>, whose Portuguese version will be adapted and coordinated by Mariana Fran\u00e7a Gouveia<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>

The event will be attended by the authors Franco Ferrari<\/strong> and Friedrich Rosenfeld<\/strong>, both from NYU School of Law, to comment on some central aspects of the work. In addition, Ana Coimbra Trigo<\/strong><\/a> and Rui Pereira Dias<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will address relevant Lusophone case law concerning the New York Convention. At the end of each panel, moderated by Maria Helena Brito<\/strong><\/a>, those interested will have the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any doubts about the topics under discussion.<\/p>
