&#8211; as <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/filipe-brito-bastos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Professor Filipe Brito Bastos<\/a>, who presented the award at the ceremony, pointed out &#8211; <em><strong>&#8220;but for all fellow teachers&#8221;.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>&#8220;<em>The winner<\/em>,&#8221; he continued, &#8220;<em>continues to give so much to our school and, in the true spirit of our pedagogical excellence, <strong>continues to reinvent herself and support each of her students<\/strong>. Even in the most extraordinary circumstances. <strong>She has trained generations of change agents<\/strong>&#8220;<\/em>.<\/p><p>&#8220;<strong><em>She is a model of determination, of love for teaching, of love for the law &#8211; a love that is contagious<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; he adds, saying: &#8220;<em>These are not my words. They are the words of the students who supported her nomination. But I echo their words, especially when they say that she is, and I quote, <strong>&#8216;an inspiration to young academics<\/strong>&#8216;<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e715916 elementor-widget elementor-widget-ekit_wb_28929\" data-id=\"e715916\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"ekit_wb_28929.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"normal-titleh2 preto regular-text\">Awarding the Prize for Pedagogical Excellence<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3649fbb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3649fbb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Prize embodies public recognition of <strong>pedagogical excellence, intending,<\/strong> in particular, to recognize the capacity for pedagogical innovation of its faculty, contributing to disseminating good practices developed in the academic year immediately preceding its attribution, in curricular units of any type.<\/p><p>The Prize is awarded <strong>annually<\/strong> and is decided in <strong>October of each year<\/strong> with reference to the immediately preceding academic year.<\/p><p>Faculty members or teams of faculty members who have taught one or more degree courses of any type within the degree cycles in the academic year immediately <strong>preceding the award of the Prize, are eligible for the award,<\/strong> regardless of the nature of their link to NOVA School of Law. Eligibility, in turn, does not depend on the submission of applications<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c92c8e2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-ekit_wb_28929\" data-id=\"c92c8e2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"ekit_wb_28929.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"normal-titleh2 preto regular-text\">Evaluation<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb9994c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fb9994c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Any reasoned proposals subscribed by one or more faculty members or students of the<strong> NOVA School of Law community<\/strong> will be considered. These proposals should be sent to the chair of the Pedagogical Council by email between the first and the last day of September of the academic year following that to which the award
