<strong>President of the Supreme Court of Justice<\/strong>, also inherently assuming the presidency of the <strong>Superior Council of the Judiciary.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5dbf73c elementor-widget elementor-widget-ekit_wb_28992\" data-id=\"5dbf73c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"ekit_wb_28992.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"normal-titleh3 preto regular-text\">About Jo\u00e3o Cura Mariano<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-71f3791 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"71f3791\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Jo\u00e3o Cura Mariano is a visiting professor at NOVA School of Law, where he has taught declaratory civil procedure to several generations of NOVA lawyers. Between 2007 and 2016, Jo\u00e3o Cura Mariano was a <strong>judge at the Constitutional Court<\/strong>, having worked in the <strong>Courts of Appeal of Coimbra and Oporto<\/strong>, and in 2017 he was a member of the <strong>Advisory Council of the Attorney General&#8217;s Office<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Previously, he worked in various courts in Coimbra, Guarda, Marinha Grande, Lisbon and Cascais. At that time, he taught civil law at the Centre for Judicial Studies, the magistrates&#8217; school.<\/p><p>He holds a law degree from the University of Coimbra and a master&#8217;s degree in civil law from the Portuguese Catholic University.
