introduce the new <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/ll-m-program-in-human-rights-advocacy\/\">LL.M in Human Rights Advocacy<\/a>, offered jointly by <strong>NOVA School of Law<\/strong> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humanrightsnetwork.org\/\">University Network for Human Rights<\/a>.<\/p><p>This fully English-taught, three-term, full-year programme provides students with a <strong>multidisciplinary understanding of human rights standards<\/strong> and their application to social conflict and equips them to challenge abusive behaviour by a range of actors.<\/p><p>The programme <strong>combines rigorous study with practical training<\/strong>, providing students with an<strong> immersive experience<\/strong> in the study and practice of human rights, previously available only in a limited and legalistic form in law school human rights clinics.<\/p><p>While the programme will cover the normative and legal framework of human rights, students do not need to
