NOVA School of Law<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4899d23a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4899d23a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>On <strong>14 March 2025<\/strong>, NOVA School of Law will present the <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/nova-platform-for-european-administrative-and-regulatory-law-nova-pearl\/\">NOVA Platform for European Administrative and Regulatory Law (NOVA PEARL)<\/a>, the new knowledge centre dedicated to the study of regulatory administrative law in a European context.<\/p><p>Two key topics will be discussed at the event, which will bring together national and international experts: \u201c<em>Digital Regulation in the European Union and the Challenges of Enforcement<\/em>\u201d and \u201c<em>Challenges of the Europeanisation of Regulatory Administrative Law in Portugal<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><p>The choice of topics and speakers reflects NOVA PEARL\u2019s mission to contribute to <strong>debates on regulatory administrative law<\/strong> at European as well as national level, to foster <strong>exchanges between academics and practitioners<\/strong>, and to combine the analysis general, cross-sectoral issues of administrative regulation with a research priority on the administrative enforcement of E<strong>U Digital Regulation.<\/strong><\/p><p>The opening session will feature speeches by Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/margarida-lima-rego\/\">Margarida Lima Rego<\/a>, Director of NOVA School of Law, and Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/filipe-brito-bastos\/\">Filipe Brito Bastos<\/a>, Director of NOVA PEARL, who will present the vision and mission of the new knowledge centre.<\/p><p>The first panel will feature experts from <strong>prestigious European universities<\/strong> who will share their perspectives on the evolution of regulation in an increasingly digitalised and interconnected context. This will be followed by a face-to-face discussion with <strong>Portuguese academics and regulators<\/strong>, focusing on the impact of European Union law on national regulation and the adaptation of Portuguese administrative systems to the requirements of the European framework.<\/p><p>The event will also feature a <em>keynote speech<\/em> by Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/anacom.pt\/render.jsp?contentId=1802241\">Raquel Br\u00edzida Castro<\/a> of the <strong>University of Lisbon and Vice-President of ANACOM\u00a0<\/strong>and a closing speech by
