Society<\/a> of obtaining <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/cedis-achieves-fcts-highest-rating\/\">the highest possible rating of \u2018Excellent\u2019 in its FCT <\/a>evaluation and the institution\u2019s ranking as the <strong>leading legal research institution in Portugal<\/strong>, NOVA School of Law has now reached another historic milestone by becoming <strong>the country\u2019s leading legal education institution<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>The bachelor\u2019s degree in law at NOVA School of Law leads the country<\/strong>, with the highest entry score ever achieved: <strong>17.80 out of 20 for the last student admitted.<\/strong> This result confirms an entry threshold above 17 for the sixth consecutive year and represents a significant achievement for our Faculty, <strong>with 100% of admitted students choosing us as their institution of first-choice<\/strong>.<\/p><p>This dual recognition cements our leadership position in both <strong>teaching and research<\/strong>, reflecting the scientific and academic rigour of our institution, the dedication of our teaching and research staff, and the professionalism and quality of our administrative team.<\/p><p>Together, these factors enable us to fulfil our mission of <strong>training outstanding legal professionals and actively contributing to a fairer, more informed and innovative society<\/strong>.<\/p><p>With ambition and rigour, NOVA School of Law will continue to grow while staying true to its identity and distinctive character. For the first time, <strong>it has officially become the country&#8217;s top law school<\/strong>, with an average entry grade of <strong>17.80<\/strong> for the last student admitted to the Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Law \u2014 the highest ever.<\/p><p>This result confirms an admission score above 17 for the sixth consecutive year and reflects the unprecedented fact that <strong>100% of applicants listed NOVA School of Law as their first choice.<\/strong><\/p><p>The excellence of our academic community is further evidenced by the fact that, a few months ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/novalaw.unl.pt\/en\/cedis-achieves-fcts-highest-rating\/\">the faculty achieved first place in the evaluation of law research centres in Portuga<\/a>l, reinforcing its position as a national and international benchmark.<\/p><p>These successes reflect the scientific and academic rigour of NOVA School of Law, the commitment and dedication of its teaching and research staff, and the quality and professionalism of its non-teaching staff.
