As part of the Master’s in Law and Tech at NOVA School of Law, we are pleased to welcome Eduardo Matos, Account Executive for Higher Education at Microsoft Portugal, to lead the Open Workshop “The AI Advocate: Transforming Legal Services with Technology”.

With extensive experience in digital transformation projects across the financial and public sectors, Eduardo Matos has been focusing on integrating emerging technologies into higher education and legal practice.

This workshop will explore the opportunities and challenges that generative artificial intelligence presents for legal professionals, with practical examples such as virtual assistants, predictive analysis, and document management.

This event is a unique opportunity for students and faculty to deepen their understanding of the intersection between law and technology, and to discuss the ethical and legal implications of adopting AI in legal practice.
