
Francisco Costa-Cabral
Cruz Vilaça – Antas da Cunha ECIJA Chair in EU law
Before joining NOVA School of Law as a Guest Professor and researcher in CEDIS (2024), Francisco Costa-Cabral was Lecturer in Competition Law at the University of Glasgow and Assistant Professor at Tilburg University (in the Tilburg Law and Economics Center, remaining an Extramural Fellow presently).
Prior to that he was also a Teaching Assistant at the College of Europe (Bruges), Emile Noël Fellow at New York University, and Assistant Professor at the China-EU School of Law, as well as working as a référendaire at the Court of Justice of the European Union and a lawyer in Lisbon and Brussels.
He graduated from the University of Lisbon (BA in law), College of Europe (LLM), and King’s College London (PhD in Law).
