The West Solaria Case

2 and 3 December

The NOVA School of Law will host the trial hearing of the West Solaria case on 2 and 3 December, which pits the Federal Republic of Solaria against the State of Noctaria.

The Case

West Solaria is a province in the Federal Republic of Solaria that is rich in strategic resources and home to the Solanoc people, who have their own cultural identity.
Following decades of political exclusion and disputes over resource distribution, the region held a referendum and declared independence.
The provisional government proclaimed the State of Solanoc, which was recognised by the State of Noctaria. However, its sovereignty is still contested, giving rise to internal tensions and international disputes.
