Biographical Note | Pedagogical Experience 

She holds a law degree from Lusíada University of Lisbon and a PhD in Criminal Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the New University of Lisbon.

Currently, she works as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at Lusíada University, teaching in both undergraduate and master’s programmes. She is a researcher at the Centre for Legal, Economic, International and Environmental Studies (CEJEIA) and the Research Centre for Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences (CIDPCC) at the University of Lisbon Faculty of Law.

Her research focuses on the relationship between criminal law theory, neuroscience, and philosophy of mind, and she participates in national research projects and international conferences on the subject. She has extensive experience supervising dissertations and serving on academic boards.
