Amanda Costa Novaes is a PhD Candidate at NOVA School of Law, where she also completed a Master’s degree in Business Law and Technology, receiving the Top Student Award. She holds a specialization in Law of New Information and Communication Technologies from the Instituto Europeo Campus Stellae. She graduated in law from both the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil).
She currently serves as a co-Lecturer in InfoDoc, an introductory course on legal research methodologies.
She is a researcher at NOVA Intellectual Property & Sustainable Innovation (NOVA IPSI), NOVA Consumer Lab, and the Centre for Research on Law and Society (CEDIS). Her principal areas of research encompass EU copyright law, consumer protection, and sustainable business practices.
