Consultancy Centre
NOVA School of Law’s Consultancy Centre was created to provide legal advice and technical and scientific studies to support public policies, business decisions and dispute resolution.
The Centre and its members carry out this activity by responding to legal queries submitted by public or private entities, preparing legal studies on request, or participating in legislative reform processes.
NOVA School of Law has more than 30 resident lecturers, both national and foreign, with doctorates in various fields of law and dedicated to rigorous, interdisciplinary, and international analysis of the most demanding and complex legal problems
The faculty is therefore in a unique position at national level to study and monitor the most complex legal issues in the Portuguese legal system, as well as foreign and comparative law.
Our experts work in several languages, including Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, French and German.
The Consultancy Centre is thus an important link between NOVA School of Law and civil society, allowing the faculty to place its know-how at the service of social development, sustainability, economic progress, and the improvement of the legal system.
