Nuno Piçarra graduated in Law from Lisbon University on November 5, 1980, with a final average of 16/20; Master in Law from Lisbon University on March 11, 1986, with a dissertation in the field of Constitutional Law classified as Very Good (18/20), unanimously; Doctor of Law from the NOVA University, Lisbon, on October 9, 2003, with a dissertation in the field of Constitutional Law, approved with Distinction and Praise, unanimously.
He has been a judge at the Court of Justice of the European Union since October 2018.
