Francisco Arga e Lima

Francisco Arga e Lima is specialised in data protection and has advised European companies and start-ups, mainly in Portugal, Switzerland and Germany, with a particular focus on the artificial intelligence sector. He is also a Ph.D candidate in European Constitutional Law at NOVA School of Law, where he graduated.

In addition to his professional duties, Francisco is an active researcher at the NOVA Consumer Lab and the Data Protection Observatory, and a co-coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Personal Data Protection at NOVA School of Law and Jurisnova.

His research and professional focus cover the intersection of law and technology, particularly in areas related to data protection, artificial intelligence and digital regulation, as well as Constitutional Law.
