NOVA MUN

NOVA University Lisbon’s Model United Nations hub, NOVA MUN, aims to create a dynamic space for all students at NOVA School of LAW to participate in and better understand the workings of the United Nations.

Focusing on debates, geopolitical analysis and cultural exchange, and with the aim of involving participants in solving the global challenges facing the international community, NOVA MUN challenges all students to actively participate in UN simulations.

The simulations are a unique opportunity for students to play the roles of delegates from different countries and their committees and to debate, negotiate and formulate proposals on the most relevant issues facing UN bodies.

Throughout each semester, NOVA MUN organizes preparatory sessions in which participants are guided through how the simulations work and the rules of procedure.
