Beatriz Seabra de Brito is currently legal advisor to the Vice President of the Constitutional Court, Gonçalo Almeida Ribeiro.
Beatriz’s work has focused on criminal law theory, comparative criminal law and procedural criminal law. She also has extensive experience in administrative sanctions procedures, having worked as a Lawyer at CMVM and Banco de Portugal. She started her career at PLMJ.
Beatriz was an invited researcher at Humboldt-Universität (Berlin) and she is a researcher at CEDIS. She won the European YERUN Research Mobility Award (YRMA) for early career researchers with the collaboration of Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona).
She is currently preparing her PhD thesis under the supervision of Professor José de Faria e Costa and Frederico da Costa Pinto.
