NOVA School of Law rises in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024

NOVA School of Law has moved up in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024, one of the most prestigious university rankings in the world and is now ranked between 176-200 in a list that includes a record number of 1904 institutions from 108 countries and regions.

This ranking identifies the best universities in the world and the 2024 edition is based on a new methodology that includes 18 indicators measuring an institution’s performance in five areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international outlook.

Compared to the previous edition of the ranking, in which it was already listed between positions 201-250, NOVA School of Law improves its performance in the areas of teaching, research environment and research quality, and achieves the best position in international outlook.

Among the indicators analysed are the reputation of the teaching staff, the student-professor ratio, research productivity, patents, the proportion of international students, the impact of research and study programmes at international level.
