NOVA School of Law signs protocol with Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados

With the aim of bringing young people and university education closer to professional activities, NOVA School of Law is seeking to establish a range of partnerships in which firms support academic research by formulating scientific questions to be addressed by students in their research.

To this end, NOVA School of Law, represented by its Dean, Professor Margarida Lima Rego, and Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados, represented by its Managing Director, Martim Krupenski, have signed a protocol on cooperation for the creation of “Market-Based Masters”, allowing master’s students direct contact with practical legal questions, preparing them to face professional challenges and an increasingly demanding labour market.

Through this protocol, the prestigious law firm makes itself available to facilitate the analysis and resolution of student’s research questions, sharing its know-how, namely in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Cripto, Blockchain, Tech Transactions, Digital Services & E-commerce, Cybersecurity, among others, and covering the costs of registering for academically relevant conferences.

This protocol thus continues NOVA School of Law’s commitment to an increasingly intense articulation between academia and the labour market, in order to prepare jurists with a future and for the future, giving them the skills, not only to deepen their knowledge and to be more competitive, but also to make a difference in society,
