Conference in the context of the South EU Google Data Governance Chair

Next April 29th will take place the Conference «Overlaps and Gaps in EU Data Protection Law», organized in the context of the «South EU Google Data Governance Chair», which gathers some of the most prestigious universities in Southern Europe, namely Universidad CEU San Pablo (Madrid, Spain), Università RomaTre (Italy), National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) and NOVA School of Law, chosen by Google to represent Portugal.

The Chair aims to study the ethical and legal limits of technologies that treat personal data, as well as to create debate on the main challenges that the relation between technological innovation and privacy poses in today’s society, with a perspective of the future.
