Aim of the course

This postgraduate course aims to provide participants with the necessary skills to understand the consumer relationship in the twenties of the 21st century. Consumer law is constantly evolving and those working in this area need to be up-to-date with new trends and ever-changing rules. Close monitoring of each student is guaranteed, both in the postgraduate sessions and through the discussion forums available on Moodle, which allow anyone who wishes to do so to deepen their knowledge at any time.

Target audience

The course is aimed at lawyers and non-lawyers who work in the area of consumer relations, including lawyers, solicitors, employees of companies, consumer or professional associations, regulatory or supervisory bodies and consumer dispute resolution bodies, magistrates, civil servants and consumer support technicians.

Online. Sessions will not be recorded.

57 hours (synchronous), plus a number of hours of asynchronous work through the discussion forums available on Moodle.

Methodology

  • Theoretical-practical classes, with the resolution of a number of practical cases – synchronous sessions
  • Discussion forums – asynchronous sessions

Evaluation

Final written exam (100%) and/or active participation in the forum (40%) and presentation of written work (60%). If the student has both elements, the best mark counts.
